eclean V1 is here

eclean V1 is now available for Windows 10 and Windows 11.

This is the release we have been building toward through public beta: a clearer, more complete PC care app for people who want their Windows PC to feel easier to manage without trusting vague one-click fixes.

eclean brings the everyday maintenance work into one place: clean junk files, find large files, review Windows settings, manage startup apps, remove unwanted software, check hardware, and keep track of what changed.

PC care should feel clear

Most people do not open a PC care app because they want more system chores. They open it because something feels off.

Maybe Windows takes too long to settle after startup. Maybe storage keeps disappearing. Maybe old apps, browser extensions, cache files, or background tasks have piled up. Maybe you just want to understand what is happening inside the machine before changing anything.

That is what V1 is built around.

eclean is designed to help you move through the obvious questions first:

• What is taking up space?
• What starts with Windows?
• Which cleanup results are safe to review?
• Which settings have changed?
• What has been removed or optimized already?
• What does the hardware look like right now?

The product is not trying to make every decision for you. It is trying to make the right decision easier to see.

A better first session

V1 includes a more guided first-run experience.

Cleaner, Optimizer, Booster, Uninstaller, and Your PC each solve a different job. The updated onboarding helps new users understand where to start and what each area is for, without removing control from users who already know what they want to do.

We also improved the way the app loads and recovers during startup, so the first session feels calmer and less abrupt.

Cleaner: review before you delete

Cleaner helps you scan for temporary files, app caches, browser clutter, game files, system junk, and large files that may be taking up more space than expected.

V1 makes Cleaner more useful for routine maintenance:

• Scheduled Junk Cleaner can help keep recurring clutter under control.
• Cleaning summaries are clearer after a cleanup finishes.
• Cleaner history is easier to follow.
• Categories are easier to work through.
• Find Large Files is safer, with stronger rules around what can be selected or deleted.

That last point matters. Large-file cleanup should not feel like a trap. V1 focuses large-file discovery on user data and adds safeguards around sensitive paths, system areas, shortcuts, directories, and items that should not be directly deleted from the results table.

The goal is simple: scan, review, clean, and understand what happened.

Optimizer: make Windows changes with more confidence

Optimizer is for Windows settings that affect privacy, performance, quality of life, and background behavior.

V1 improves the experience around reviewing and applying those changes:

• Quick Optimizer now handles pending changes more carefully.
• Search and filtering are easier to use.
• Optimization history is clearer.
• A new Microsoft Store recommended search results tweak helps keep Windows Search cleaner.
• The Windows Insider prevention tweak now checks whether Insider is already active and avoids applying the wrong kind of change.

The key idea is confidence. If a setting needs context, eclean should explain it. If a change is not compatible with the current machine, eclean should say so. If you are about to replace or discard pending changes, eclean should ask first.

Booster: reduce startup and background drag

Booster helps with the things that can make a PC feel busy before you have done anything: startup apps, services, scheduled tasks, and DNS settings.

In V1, Booster has stronger startup handling, better history, clearer action states, and improved control over services and scheduled tasks. You can review what is running, make a change, and keep a better record of what happened afterward.

This is especially useful when a PC technically works but feels heavier than it should. The problem is often not one dramatic issue. It is several small things starting, checking, updating, or running in the background.

Uninstaller: remove more than desktop apps

Uninstaller helps you review and remove installed software, Microsoft Store apps, browser extensions, and leftover files.

V1 improves the state and responsiveness across those areas, including browser extension handling and uninstall history. That makes it easier to deal with the clutter that standard uninstall flows often leave behind.

Removing software should not be a guessing game. eclean helps you see what is installed, what has been removed, and what may still be left to clean up.

Your PC: understand the machine underneath

V1 also improves the visibility side of eclean.

Your PC gives you a clearer look at system information, sensors, disk health, storage, memory, CPU, GPU, and network activity. V1 also adds sensor history and alerts, so the app can be more useful when you are watching how a PC behaves over time.

That context matters because cleanup and optimization are easier to trust when you can see the machine behind the changes.

Help where it belongs

V1 improves how help links are handled inside the app, including localized Learn More links and fallback articles where a specific guide is not available yet.

That sounds small, but it supports a bigger product principle: when a feature needs explanation, the answer should be close to the decision the user is making.
