Fewer crashes, your eclean report and payment status
eclean 1.4.2 fixes a crash when Windows shuts down or restarts, a layout bug after cleaning, and several background errors. It also adds your eclean report and shows when a payment is still processing.
Fixed
- eclean no longer crashes when Windows shuts down, restarts or signs you out while eclean is starting or showing a dialog.
- After a clean, the page header no longer disappears and leaves a blank band until you restart eclean.
- Discord Rich Presence stays on while eclean is in the tray, without showing the last page you had open.
- The File shredder no longer reports files that Windows won't let any app delete, such as temporary files still held by an installer, as errors. It still lists them as not removed, and now also removes read-only files in Quick mode.
- Fewer false errors from the eclean service when it isn't installed or a Windows service can't be changed.
New
- Your eclean report in Settings > Account shows what eclean did on all your PCs in the last 30 days: space freed, cleans, tweaks applied, apps uninstalled and days used. You can turn it off at any time, which deletes the totals.
- Tips and offers on Home, one at a time, which you can close.
- If you pay by bank debit, Account settings now shows when a payment is still processing or has failed, instead of showing no plan.
