What are the plans?
Free, Pro, and Family. Pro unlocks the full depth of the app on up to 2 PCs you personally use. Family shares Pro across up to 5 PCs in your household, each with their own account. Current prices are on the pricing page.
Why a subscription and not a one-time license?
Because subscriptions are our only revenue, and we would rather be funded by people choosing to stay than by data sales, bundled offers, or paid major upgrades. Subscribers fund the free tier, and if you stop paying you keep it. Our finances are public if you want to check the claim.
Can I use one license on several PCs?
A Pro license covers up to 2 PCs you personally use, so install eclean on your desktop and laptop with the same account. For a household with several people, the Family plan shares Pro across up to 5 PCs, each with their own account.
What payment methods do you support?
Checkout runs through Stripe, so your payment details never touch our servers. We accept the major card brands (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, and Discover) alongside PayPal, Klarna, and regional favorites like iDEAL, Bancontact, and Revolut Pay. If yours is missing, tell us on the community forum.
Why do you need my billing country?
Taxes, fees, and who you buy from follow the country you are billed in. Prices never do: they are in USD wherever you are. The pricing page shows the country we work out from your connection so you can correct it before you buy instead of answering a question on the way to checkout. Your choice only sets up the checkout session and stays with your billing details.
Who am I buying from?
It depends on your billing country. Where paid plans are available, you buy directly from eclean Labs AB in Sweden. In other supported countries, Link acts as our merchant of record, so it formally sells the subscription and issues your receipt. Either way the product, the price, and our refund policy are the same. Your account shows which one applies to you.
Can I change my billing address?
Yes, from Billing in your account. Taxes follow the new address from your next invoice. Whoever sells your subscription is fixed for as long as it runs, so if you move to a country the other seller covers, your current subscription stays as it is until you cancel and subscribe again.
Do you support digital wallets?
Yes. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Link all work at checkout, so on most devices paying is one confirmation rather than a form. Wallets follow the same refund and cancellation rules as every other method.
Do I need an account to buy?
Yes. Pro and Family are tied to your eclean account, which is what lets one license cover your desktop and your laptop.
