Trust you can check. Not badges to admire.
eclean keeps Windows PCs fast without spying on their owners. This center shows how that promise holds up, and every claim here links to the document that backs it.

The questions people ask before they rely on eclean, answered from the record. Every question can be linked to directly, and every answer links to its source.
Where is my data stored?
Account data, telemetry, and community data live in databases hosted in the EU. The desktop app keeps scans, cleanup history, and settings on your device, and they never leave it.
Does eclean sell personal data?
No. Revenue comes from subscriptions, not data. Marketing cookies on the website load only with your consent and never use your eclean account data.
Is telemetry on by default?
No. Analytics and error tracking in the desktop app are both off until you switch them on in the privacy settings, and you can switch them off again at any time.
Is eclean SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified?
Not today. We are a small team and have not completed a formal audit. If that changes it will appear here and in the trust updates log, and nothing on this site implies a certification we do not hold.
How do I report a security vulnerability?
Email security@eclean.gg with what you found and how to reproduce it. Fixed findings are credited on the acknowledgements page once the fix has shipped.
Who sees my payment details?
Stripe processes every checkout. We receive transaction status and basic billing information, and we never see or store your full card number.
How do I get my data deleted?
Email privacy@eclean.gg and the request is handled within 30 days. Billing records stay for 7 years because Swedish accounting law requires it, everything else goes.
What happens if there is a breach?
If a breach poses a risk to you, we notify the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection within 72 hours and inform affected people without undue delay.
How do I find out when this page changes?
Every new resource, subprocessor, or policy change lands in the trust updates log, dated the day it takes effect.
